LocosLab GmbH is based in Germany and is the first and only approved test lab for Wi-SUN FAN in Europe.

Technical Profiles
We offer Technical Profile Testing of all FAN 1.1 profiles (FAN 1.0+, High Performance (HP) and Low Energy (LE)) as well as all device types (Border Router, Router and LFN).
Available Regions and Bands
Wi-SUN FAN certification is available for the following regions and frequency bands:
- North America (902 – 928 MHz)
- Japan (920 – 928 MHz)
Additional regions will follow once the certification program is opened by the Wi-SUN Alliance.

How certification at LocosLab works
Steps for successful certification
1.
Request for Certification
- Contact us using this email template to request the required information for certification.
- Our staff will check with the Wi-SUN Alliance that you are an active member and eligible for certification.
2.
Administrative Information
- Our staff will then send you the administrative forms and a checklist of tasks to complete.
- Fill out the documents and submit them back to us to request certification testing for your product(s).
3.
Confirmation and Device Shipment
- Our staff will check your submitted forms and send you a confirmation along with an invoice.
- Send the required hardware with setup and usage instructions to our test lab in Essen, Germany.
4.
Test Execution
- Upon reception of payment, our test engineers will carefully run all required tests with your device(s).
- Our staff will keep you informed of the current certification status and contact you in case of any difficulties or problems.
5.
Test Report and Certification
- Upon successful completion of all tests, our staff will issue a test report.
- Submit the report directly to the Wi-SUN Alliance to obtain your certificate(s).
